Dating back to 1898, the Inn on the Green was originally built as a railway hotel named The George. Still thriving today, the Inn on the Green has had a complete makeover bringing the beautiful and impressive interior right up to date with modern design.
Although renowned for its cuisine, the Inn is faithful to its roots as a traditional South Norfolk village pub where people can wander in with walking boots and dogs to enjoy good company, fine ales and carefully selected wines. David Francis and Julie Derges previously ran The Gamekeeper in Old Buckenham for 8 years, taking it from a down-and-out watering hole to a thriving part of the community.
Now David and Julie are focussed solely on the Inn on the Green, which they bought in 2011.
Having completely updated the stunning interior, David and Julie centre their attention on bringing their years of experience to offering customers a first class dining and drinking experience in this wonderful South Norfolk public house.
